Creative Lunch Hours to Learn how to Innovate

From December 11, 2018 to May 16, 2019

As part of the Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (RICE) workshop network, creative lunch workshops are being held throughout the year. These workshops are primarily aimed at RICE members, but they are also open to staff and professors from the Université de Lyon and its member institutions, subject to limited available seating.

This workshop series aims to introduce participants to creative leadership methods applied to activities surrounding innovation and entrepreneurship. These very active and innovative workshops are run by Beelys instructors and Sandra Trigano (from the RICE network).

In the first workshop, which covered “A general introduction to creativity with a focus on ice-breakers” on December 11, participants were introduced to short exercises to break the ice in meetings, seminars or any other type of event. They were also given an opportunity to try out creativity methods that they can later apply to their daily lives at work.

A series of future workshops is scheduled over the next few months:

  • January 17 at noon: “A guide to good teamwork and leadership postures”
  • February 1 at noon: “Ideation – Phase 1: Brainstorming and idea selection”
  • March 13 at noon: “Ideation – Phase 2: Exploring an idea in-depth”
  • April 8 at noon: “Voting, pitching, final jury and examples of complete sequences”
  • May 16 at noon: “Let’s create and test your format!”

Registration is now open for the second and third workshops

Attendance at all workshops is not mandatory, but it is recommended. Notes from the first workshop will be sent to people enrolled in the second workshop.
