This December 10 initiative was jointly led by Beelys, the La Poste group, the CEA and Lyon French Tech. During the evening, the Beelys student-entrepreneurs leading artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) projects were given the opportunity to test their business model on AI & IoT experts from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region: LETI CEA Tech, Minalogic and Probayes.
Artificial intelligence and its application to the Internet of Things will lead to the next great innovative ideas that will shuffle the deck for a wide variety of industries, including mobility, energy, security/surveillance, health, and many more.
This dynamic can be found in all of the projects that were presented. Our experts were pleased with the levels of technicality and progress they displayed. The state of progress led to discussions about differentiation, implementation, business strategy (which the entrepreneurs identified as an unmet need), and the marketing phase. “Artificial intelligence requires the extensive foundation work of educating the market,” explains Philippe Wieczorek, from Minalogic, placing emphasis on the necessity of analyzing the competition and developing each entrepreneur’s network. The experts all opened up their address books to the leaders of each project.
The second Beelys business evening will be sponsored by the La Poste group, and will be held in February in Saint-Étienne, exploring the theme of design.
