Three minutes to convince the audience in the final Innovation Academy Challenge

The first year of the Innovation Academy will come to a close on April 24, 2018, at the Université de Lyon with its final Challenge. This is a chance for PhD students to present how their projects have progressed since the launch day in January earlier this year.

The Innovation Academy is a new scheme led by the Université de Lyon and Pulsalys for PhD students at the Université de Lyon. It aims to help PhD students take action towards developing their innovative projects.

Since the launch of the Innovation Academy on January 23, 50 PhD students have been working on 11 innovation projects. Each project is supported by a mentor from the business world.

Throughout the scheme, the PhD students have been working on defining their innovation project, as well as their market, business model and business plan. They have been joined by several experts from various innovation sectors throughout the training program.

The PhD students will be presenting how their projects have progressed in a three-minute pitch to the audience.
