On The April 5, 2018
As part of Sustainable Development Student Day 2018 organized by the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, several events are being held throughout the day of Thursday, April 5, 2018, to raise the awareness of as many people as possible about environmental issues.
This is a perfect opportunity for students and sustainable development stakeholders to meet each other, and the day will highlight the commitment and drive of the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 with regard to sustainable development.
Two highlights of the program
► During the lunch break
An Association Forum from 12 pm to 2 pm at the Maison du Projet;
A BarCamp at 12:30 pm in the foyer of the Science University Library, with a presentation from two PhD students on their sustainable development research topics.
► In early evening
A screening and discussion on energy transition, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in auditorium no.13 in the Astrée Theater;
The event features a screening of the film "Our Village" (Notre Village) by Marie Monique Robin, followed by a discussion led by ALEC, with stakeholders in the sustainable development sector.
A collective dynamic for the Energy and Ecological Transition team
For this day, the Energy and Ecological Transition (TEE) team from the Université de Lyon will be at the Maison du Projet to present its TEE strategy, as well as the eco-friendly action campaign, jointly developed by all the site's member institutions.
The Université de Lyon and its member institutions have made a collective commitment to completing the successful energy and ecological transition of the university campuses in Lyon Saint-Étienne and are rallying together to reduce its environmental impact.
The renovation and rehabilitation of the LyonTech-la Doua campus, which began in 2015, will eventually involve 14,000 m2 of the site's buildings and include 24,800 m2 of construction work. This construction work is coupled with efforts to raise user awareness, particularly through Sustainable Development Student Week.
