- Signing of the Climate and Energy Plans
By signing the Saint-Étienne Métropole Regional Climate and Energy Plan on October 13, 2015 and that of the Métropole de Lyon on November 12, 2015, the Université de Lyon reaffirmed its commitment to the energy and ecological transition alongside local authorities and companies in the region.
- Commitment with the French Water Agency
Since then, the Université de Lyon has made a commitment to the consortium of French Water Agencies by signing the Metropolitan contract for the sustainable management of water.
- Signing of the Sustainable Building Plan
On 11 October 2017, the Université de Lyon was among the 14 institutions to sign the Sustainable Development Plan charter for energy and environmental efficiency in public and private tertiary buildings.
