My Thesis in 180 Seconds 2018 - Watch the regional final!

From February 27, 2018 to March 29, 2018

The Université de Lyon regional final of the international French-speaking "My Thesis in 180 Seconds" competition will be held on March 29 at 6 pm in the UdL's Grand Amphithéâtre. Come and support our PhD students!

My Thesis in 180 Seconds invites PhD students to present their research topic in simple terms to a jury and diverse non-specialist audience. Fourteen PhD students from the Lyon Saint-Étienne university sites will present their research projects in three minutes in a clear and concise, yet convincing manner.

A jury made up of researchers, journalists and representatives from the socio-economic sector will then award three prizes. You will also have the opportunity to award your favorite presentation!

The Université de Lyon winners of the first jury prize and the audience prize will go on to compete in the national stage of the competition.
