The Université de Lyon is co-organizing the National University Dance Events

On The April 5, 2018

The National University Dance Events are a true highlight for university dance and a unique opportunity to highlight students' creative work from the year and thus promote their artistic talent. The event has been scheduled for April 5 at the Maison de la Danse, where we will be able to see 180 shortlisted dancers perform!

Each year, a different university site in France hosts this artistic exchange event in its city.2018 is the Lyon Saint-Etienne university site's turn to host the event.

For the first time, these gatherings will be held at the prestigious and iconic Maison de la Danse, whose Director, Dominique Hervieu, a former dance choreographer, will be chairing the event.

The aim? The gatherings, which will run over two days from April 4 to 5, will end with a show performed by 180 students from twelve different university sites.

This event falls under the "Université de Lyon's"Arts and Culture Days in Higher Education (JACES) program, which includes over thirty different events (exhibitions, gatherings, shows, performances and screenings, etc.).

Co-organized by the Université de Lyon, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Regional Committee for University Sport and the Maison de la Danse, the events also form part of the 2018 Maison de la Danse program.
