The Université de Lyon's Disrupt'Campus program

The UdL’s Disrupt’Campus is a student-company campus built around the theme of digital transformation.

Digital transformation describes the process of a company fully integrating digital technology in all of its activities. This transformation aims to benefit from the new order brought about by universal access to the Internet, collaborative platforms, big data, artificial intelligence, the Web of Things... through to questioning the original model underpinning companies themselves. This project is funded by the Investments for the Future program (PIA) and led by Bpifrance. “Disrupt'Campuses” are educational programs teaching entrepreneurship and digital innovation. They create close partnerships between one or more higher education institutions and companies undergoing a digital transformation process. There are 17 such campuses in France.

At the Université de Lyon, the Disrupt'Campus program includes a Digital Transformation University Diploma (DU), a series of conferences, a partnership with the Métropole de Lyon, and it supports educational innovation and the development of education technology, or EdTechs.

Located at 92, rue Pasteur (Lyon’s 7th district), it is produced and organized by the Université de Lyon, and received support from the Métropole de Lyon, the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the Investments for the Future program as well as from several companies.

Innovation

The Disrupt’Campus project also aims to provide a field for experimentation and innovation, both in its educational program and in its organization and the specific means used in the program. This is why the Digital Transformation DU uses a digital tool on the Université de Lyon’s Claroline Connect platform.
