Visit from Frédérique Vidal, the French Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation

Frédérique Vidal, the French Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, visited the Université de Lyon on Friday, January 26, 2018, to discuss Parcoursup, the new admissions platform for higher education. During her visit, the university presidents presented innovative schemes and procedures that contribute towards the success of students within their institutions.

The Minister then attended the Strategic Orientation Committee's (COS – Comité d’orientation stratégique) first meeting at the Lyon Saint-Étienne university site, a committee shared by the Université de Lyon and the Fondation pour l'Université de Lyon, along with Khaled Bouabdallah, President of the Université de Lyon, and Alain Mérieux, President of Institut Mérieux and COS of the Université de Lyon.
