The charter for energy and ecological transition

On November 2, 2015, the Université de Lyon and its 12 member institutions signed a charter to make a commitment to taking collective action for the energy and ecological transition to meet their three main responsibilities:

• Science, through their contribution to technological and social innovation in all fields affected by climatic and environmental challenges;
• Society, by providing study programs, disseminating knowledge and taking action to change behavior;
• Patrimony, through investments and management measures to implement the transition on their sites effectively.

The founding charter for this initiative lays the groundwork for the project.
