Students Welcome Desk

Welcome to all students!

The Université de Lyon, the Métropole de Lyon, Crous de Lyon, the Préfecture du Rhône, the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, ONLYLYON, Campus France and around thirty other partners work together throughout the year to welcome and support all students during their university career.

In September and October, the Students Welcome Desk provides all the services and information you need for a successful start to the academic year. For two months at the Université de Lyon, you can find out information and complete the procedures relating to the renewal of your residence permit, the validation of your long-stay visa, accommodation, work, transport in the Metropolis of Lyon, health and access to healthcare services, culture and tourist information, etc.

Throughout the academic year, the Students Welcome Desk also organizes relaxed, subject-specific Meet & Greet events, during the day or after work, so you can meet and talk with people involved in student life and integrate well into life in the city.
