Feedback on the allocation of PhD mobility funding launched by IDEXLYON
On The September 1, 2017
As part of IDEXLYON's call for PhD mobility applications, 50 grants have been allocated.
As part of the "PhD Promotion" scheme, IDEXLYON launched a call for applications to support the international mobility of PhD students at the Université de Lyon (UdL) and to fund international PhD students studying at the Lyon Saint-Étienne site, particularly for PhD students from the International Alliance's partner universities.
For the first call for applications, 70 applicants were selected from the UdL's 17 doctoral schools.
Following a meeting between the UdL's Allocation Commission on Monday 13 November, it was decided that 50 PhD mobility grants (27 for outward mobility and 23 for inward mobility) should be allocated. Certain exchange programs will benefit from the grants, particularly those between the UdL and Université de Sherbrooke and the Université de Montréal in Canada, Tohoku University and the University of Tokyo in Japan, and the University of Turin in Italy.
This initiative will receive €250,000 of funding from IDEXLYON.
