Call for interest in the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes's "Ambitious Research Package"

From October 16, 2018 to November 29, 2018

The Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is launching a call for projects for an “Ambitious Research Package”, which aims to support laboratory projects with high socio-economic potential. The Université de Lyon is responsible for the first phase, the call for interest.

Through its 2017-2021 Regional Scheme for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes aims to support academic research projects conducted by research laboratories in public research institutions, including universities, higher education institutions, organizations and university hospitals.

To this end, it is launching a call for projects for the "Ambitious Research Package". This program places strong emphasis on creating value and supporting economic development.

A 2-phased call for projects:

  1. A call for interest, led by the Université de Lyon;
  2. A phase during which detailed applications are submitted.

The first phase will identify which projects meet the assessment and eligibility criteria for going on to the detailed offer during the second phase.

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes has appointed the Université de Lyon to run the call for interest phase.

The Université de Lyon has built an ad-hoc commission from the vice-presidents and directors of research within the site’s public institutions that are eligible for the program. This commission will compile a shortlist of projects between the final quarter of the year and mid-January.

Project leaders from the Lyon Saint-Étienne site are required to have their unit director and their institution’s research department sign their application before submitting it to the platform.
