The Université de Lyon hosts the Mayor of Porto-Novo, Benin

The mayor of Porto-Novo in Benin visited the Innovation Pre-Factory and the Maison du Projet on the LyonTech-la Doua campus during his time in Lyon.
The Université de Lyon hosted a delegation of three officials from the City Hall of Porto-Novo, the capital city of Benin, who wished to discover the Université de Lyon’s actions promoting a “smart city”.
The delegation, led by mayor Emmanuel Djima Zossou, met with the Director of the Université de Lyon’s Innovation Factory project. They saw how such a project can play a central role in bringing together academic and socio-economic environments by capitalizing on student potential to make progress on innovative projects.
The future LyonTech-la Doua campus was then presented to the delegation at the Maison du Projet, including the ecological, economical and architectural issues involved in the development and rehabilitation project.
