Call for projects for Campus Arts results from the first edition
On The April 3, 2018
As part of IDEXLYON, five projects were announced the winners of the Campus Arts call for projects.
To promote the creativity of students at the Université de Lyon and encourage their artistic expression, IDEXLYON launched the Campus Arts call for projects in January 2018. Around ten applications were submitted during this first edition.
After assessing the applications, five projects were selected. Each project was granted up to 2,000 euros of financial support and will be presented during the Arts and Culture in Higher Education Days (JACES: Journées des arts et de la culture dans l’enseignement supérieur) on the Lyon Saint-Étienne university site.
The "Campus Arts" Winners 2018:
• ArtScience: the scientific culture association DéMesures is organizing an exhibition of artistic work created by a trio made up of a scientist with a scientific image and/or data, an artist who will then give life to this image or data by creating an original piece, and finally a mediator encouraging discussion between the two. You will then be asked to deconstruct your beliefs in a participatory workshop, which aims to demonstrate that links between art and science exist and that there is sometimes a very fine line between these two disciplines. This workshop will be followed by a round-table with one of the artist-scientist pairs, as well as various stakeholders in the project.Free entry
