JACES events on Manufacture des Tabacs campus

For the Arts and Culture in Higher Education Days, usually referred to in French as "JACES" (Journées des arts et de la culture dans l'enseignement supérieur), over 30 events will be organized over three days at the Lyon Saint-Étienne university campuses.

  • "Huis Clos" ("No Exit") by Jean-Paul Sartre
    In this adaptation of Huis Clos, where the actors perform in close proximity to the audience, the characters, through their very presence and the way they observe each other -and the way they are observed- are both victims and persecutors. This lack of privacy unlocks a mechanism that forces them to lay bare, expose their wickedness and reveal their contradictions
